On-Boarding
What is the platform about?
Sareeful is a multi-reseller platform aiming to revolutionize e-commerce in the women’s ethnic wear segment. We aim to be the biggest online platform for women’s wear in India.
What products are accepted on the platform?
As the name suggest, we are primarily focused on sarees but are also on-boarding vendors from various other women-related segments such as kurtas, lingerie, accessories, footwear, etc.
Are there any restrictions on the number of vendors that can on-board?
No. We though are not looking for excessive influx of vendors and might not opt for a vendor with similar offerings of that of our existing vendors.
Do I have to be a manufacturer to become a vendor?
No. You could be a manufacturer, wholesaler, or a retailer. Please ensure that you have the necessary certifications to sell the goods as required by the law. We will not entertain duplicates or fake products on our platform and strict action will be taken against the same.
What is the process to become a vendor and what documents are required?
You can start by filling out and submitting our Registration Form, after which we’ll get in touch with you to know more about your products.
It may take us up to a week’s time to verify the details and assess our requirement. On approval of your registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email and will be able to login and upload your products on the platform.
I do not have a GST registration. Can I still become a vendor?
As per the GST rules a business needs to be registered under the GST to be able to carry out inter-state supply. Therefore we will not be able to have anyone on board without a GST registration. Vendors within Tamil Nadu without GST registration can get in touch with us for an alternative.
Products & Pricing
How many products can we add?
We don’t have an upper limit but we do recommend that you upload anywhere between 40 to 70 products (color, size, etc variations not included). Our minimum requirement is that of 25 products per category which are well stocked.
What is the quantity of stock we need to ensure?
While uploading your products you will also need to upload the available stock of the product. Please ensure that the said quantity of stock is available with you at any given time. In case the product goes out of stock via other channels of sale, please update the same on the platform to avoid penalty.
What is your product quality guideline?
One of the main criteria for our vendor approval is good quality of the goods. We need you to mention in good detail the quality and condition of the products that you upload and any discrepancy in the same may lead to return of the good, penalty or de-boarding as vendor as deemed fit by us.
What kind of product pictures do we need to upload?
Original, clear and unencumbered pictures. Please follow these basic guidelines:
- Size: Ensure that all product pictures are uploaded in 2:3 ratio (Ex: 1200 x 1800 pixels)
- Background: Use white or uncluttered backdrops for product pictures. Please do not copy paste a cropped image on white background.
- File Size: Size the images to fit under a 100KB without loss of quality. Convert the pictures to .avif format for best results.
- No. of Pictures: We require at least 2 pictures per product with one of them being a close-up.
- Branding: All images submitted must be clear of any branding whatsoever.
We recommend that you get a few product pictures approved before uploading them on the platform to avoid any reworking.
How do we price the product?
Competitively. We are not charging you any fees or deducting any commissions, thus we need you to not pad up the costs and price them aggressively. We may re-negotiate the prices if need be.
Supply & Returns
How do I manage my orders on the platform?
You will be notified via the vendor panel as well as your registered email about every new order to be despatched. It is assumed that the products listed in stock are always ready for despatch, and thus we would arrange for its pickup on the same or the following day. Please ensure the products are packed as soon as the order is received.
How should the products be packed?
Please ensure that the products are packed in good, secure and durable packaging. The shipping details of the consignment will be made available on the panel. Do not send any document in the package.
Will there be any returns?
By double checking each shipment, Sareeful tries to minimize returns. However, unless a category is ineligible for returns, the following are the cases where returns will be entertained:
- Product received is damaged or not as specified on the website.
- Wrong or incomplete product shipped.
- Product not received by customer.
- Customer dissatisfied with product quality.
In such cases, the delivery and return delivery charges are to be borne by the seller and the customer will be refunded fully.
Billing & Payments
How and to whom do we raise a bill?
Club all orders of the day and raise an invoice to Sareeful. Billing details will be shared on the platform and in email.
Are there any charges on the platform?
No commission or fees are charged to the sellers other than what is updated in the Seller Terms of Agreement.
